Our SmartLeak Detectors are designed to be small and easily fit anywhere in your home to detect moisture from plumbing, appliances, or basements. If moisture or flooding is detected, the device will alert your phone.

SmartLeak Detector – Original
This Leak Detector is our Original model designed to lay flay in our rubber SmartMatz® products, in drip pans, underneath icemakers, on basement floors, and in bathroom sink cabinets. It has sense pins on the bottom side for detecting moisture, or worse: flooding.
SmartLeak Detector – Magnetic
This Magnetic type of Leak Detector sticks vertically to the side of appliances with a very powerful magnet, it has sense pins at its feet. Being slim, this allows them to be slid into drip pans where they’ll detect water build up at the appliance itself. Very handy!!
- These devices come equipped with a built-in alarm as expected, but this is secondary to their ability to let you know, wherever you are, on your phone with text message alerts.
- Each leak detector has a very bright, built-in flashlight, controllable by your phone app, to help you see under your kitchen sink, or any dark region like behind your washer or icemaker to let you see what is happening.
- Uses your home Wi-Fi, no hub needed.
- Uses your home AC power or a USB capable battery of your choosing. Each device has a USB connector and is shipped with a USB to AC Adapter. Alternatively, the device can be plugged into a Li Power Pack for 2 weeks of use (assuming 10,000mAh of capacity). We’d prefer, if at all possible, that you power these devices from an AC outlet.

How It Works:
Cloud-based Analytics are run on data compiled by the leak detector.
Each SmartMatz® reports leak and diagnostics status to the server every 15 seconds using home Wi-Fi.
Status changes are sent to your phone via text message and phone app. Alerts for moisture, or worse – flooding, are sent to you as text message alerts.
