Our friend Mitch had a terrible leak:
“One day I’m sitting in the living room watching a sports channel and hear water running. I find the room where the noise is coming from and see water all over the floor. I look around to see that the hose under my sink had burst at the seam. I push the valve closed as it’s a push/pull type, which is pressed on to the copper tubing coming from the wall then find and shut the main water supply off. After doing a bit of research I find the parts I want replace both the valve and hose. No real water damage as I was home and heard something odd.”

Heather had a big surprise waiting for her:
“During our 2 month summer break pipes brook in my dorm type room that the university provided to foreign teachers. Water filled my wood kitchen cabinets and caused severe black mold, which later lead to an infestation of cockroaches. Water also leaked into the room below mine and caused damage. It took a few months for the school to provide a new kitchen cabinet. =( “
